When my wife Karen, my father Anthony, and I (Ralph) started this company over 48 years ago, it was just the three of us — taking orders, receiving shipments, warehousing, billing, packing, and shipping — all from the basement of our home. Over the years, our business has grown beyond our wildest dreams — and so has our family.
Our daughter Taylor has been involved in the company since she was two years old, sitting in her highchair beside Karen wearing red lipstick and “working.” From those early days, she’s grown through every part of the business — from entry-level sales to her current role as Vice President. There’s truly nothing she can’t handle. Our son Niko plays a key role on the operations side of the company, working both customer-facing and employee-facing. His ability to keep things running smoothly while building strong relationships has been a game-changer.
Together, this next generation — a dynamic brother-sister duo — has helped double the company’s growth in just the past 10 years, bringing fresh energy, forward-thinking strategies, and the same commitment to service and relationships that started it all. And now, the fourth generation has arrived... With the birth of Taylor’s son and Niko’s son, the future of the business is already looking brighter. These little ones may not be packing bolts just yet, but one thing’s for sure: Angels isn’t going anywhere.
In fact, we’re stronger than ever. We’re proud of our story, proud of where we came from, and incredibly excited about where we’re going. We continue to grow, innovate, and stay laser-focused on what matters most — serving our amazing customers with the quality, care, and heart that’s always set us apart.
In the middle of a long workday, my wife unwrapped a Tootsie Pop. I asked for one myself, thinking a little sugar fix would help get me through the afternoon. While we were working and enjoying our lollipops, my wife got a bright idea – what if we snuck a few Tootsie Pops into the tube that holds the fabric, for our customers to enjoy?
I wasn’t convinced. I thought It would be a waste of money, and some customers might not appreciate the candy or even find it. We argued back and forth for a few days, but she decided to do it anyway without me knowing. A week later, I was talking to a customer over the phone, and before hanging up, the customer said, “I want to thank you for putting those Tootsie Pops in the fabric tube. You just made a very miserable day turn great and put a smile on everyone’s face in the workroom. I was caught off guard, started to stammer and stutter, and then said, “My pleasure!”
Well, the rest is history. To this day, we spend over $12,000/year on Tootsie Pops to brighten everyone’s day. Our customers love getting them, and some of the stories I’ve heard about those lollipops would have you falling on the floor, laughing.
The moral of the story? Do what your wife tells you and don’t fight the system!

I run a successful pillow business and have been genuinely impressed with the quality of your pillows. I've tested many over the years, and I find that your fill amount strikes the perfect balance—resulting in a consistently full, luxurious finish. In comparison, some of my other distributors have noticeably reduced their fill, leading to pillows that fall short in both appearance and feel.
